Repair and Maintenance of Complete Electrical Systems
All buildings’ electrical systems should be routinely maintained to prevent problems down the line. At ATE, we provide quality, professional maintenance to keep your home or office safe and in efficiently running condition.
Some older homes may require an increase in electrical capacity to support today’s electrical needs. Our expert technicians can easily accomplish this by bringing additional capacity into your home or office and adding a larger panel board.
Our expert staff at ATE Energy Corp. can thoroughly inspect and repair all electrical systems found in your home or business, such as the electrical service entry, main panel board, branch circuits, etc.
Our technicians are thoroughly trained to look at all the electrical aspects of your building. It is important to have a safe, functioning service entry for your electricity. Our technicians will inspect, repair, and maintain overhead wires and the service entrance conductor to ensure quality service and safety.
The main panel board is the distribution center for the electrical services found in your home or office and also protects the building’s wiring from overloads. Our technicians will provide vital service to these elements of your electrical systems, including inspection of amperage rating, voltage rating, grounding, and over-current protection.
The branch circuits of your home or office basically include the wiring of the building. Our professional technicians can ensure proper condition and safety of these systems by inspecting for properly connected loads, proper grounding, etc. ATE Energy provides new wiring, rewiring, and updating of existing wiring.
Power Upgrades
Power upgrades are a good idea for several reasons. Some homes were built when less power was required to operate them, so additional load capacity may be needed today. Power upgrades also offer protection from overloads and other hazards. There are two main power upgrades that are most commonly used:
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI’s) protect the building against electrical shock that may occur due to ground faults or lost electrical current. If a power fluctuation is detected, the GFCI will halt the electrical service temporarily. The most common types of GFCI are found on most modern outlets located in bathrooms, kitchens, etc. GFCI’s are also available as circuit breakers, which give ground fault protection to a designated circuit/circuits.
Arc Fault Circuit Interrupters (AFCI’s) protect your home or office from electrical fires. Similar to GFCI’s, AFCI’s interrupt electrical service when an arc is detected. Arcs can be caused by damaged wiring, incorrect wiring, or loose connections.
Overhead and Underground Electrical Systems
Whether your home or office is served by overhead electrical wiring, or  underground services, ATE Energy provides quality inspection, installation, repair, and maintenance of these electrical systems.
Our expert technicians are qualified to thoroughly inspect and repair any overhead electrical components. Some of these elements include connection, insulation, drip loops, anchors, etc. Our technicians are qualified to understand safety standards when it comes to overhead wires.
While underground connections are not as susceptible to wind or debris-blown damage, they are more likely to be damaged by water problems. To keep underground interruptions less frequent and therefore less costly, it is important to have your underground electrical systems routinely tested and inspected for possible damage.
